The Fitness Orientation and Seminar is designed to teach each club member how to effectively and efficiently achieve their fitness goals at the Sports Barn. All members who attend will received two complimentary personal training sessions. If these scheduled times are not convenient, please contact Teresa Wade for an individualized meeting.
The Family Fitness Orientation and Seminar is designed to teach families how to develop a family fitness strategy incorporating healthy eating, lifestyle changes and fitness programming.

V02 Assessments
Until recently VO2 testing was only available at human performance labs and training centers for elite athletes. This type of assessment is recognized as the “Gold Standard” for determining fitness and developing conditioning programs to improve performance. Now, training programs for weight loss, cardio health or athletic performance is available to you at the Sports Barn!
Whether your goal is performance or weight loss, knowing one’s unique response to exercise gives you the tools you need to get the results you want.
We will begin two different assessments that will help you achieve your fitness goals: The VO2 Exercise Metabolic Assesment and The VO2 resting metabolic assessment.

Have you just started exercising and you want to learn about a class before entering a mainstream class? Would you like to improve your exercise program by attending a group fitness class? If yes, these 1 hour classes are for you. During these classes you will learn how to utilize the equipment, learn the benefits of each class, and dispel some of the myths regarding the classes. In addition to a basic workout, instructors will review the classes the Sports Barn offers to find the right fit for you.
